This version strikes a balance between improvements and new features: small updates that enhance the user experience and true game-changers for future work, such as the new Data Exchange workflows between Revit and Autodesk Docs, along with numerous performance enhancements aimed at faster calculations, especially with large models.

Schedules continue to be generated with the addition of conditional formatting for families and types—an improvement driven by requests from the Revit Community.

Greater flexibility and control for structural engineers with a revamped analytical modeling experience

Speed, versatility, and quality control are driving a shift toward a new analytical modeling workflow for structural engineers. Model in 2D and 3D views to define the analytical model independently of the physical model, or start with a parametric, “analysis-first” approach to develop the analytical model for buildings, roof structures, pavilions, staircases, and more.

With greater automation for steel connection libraries and many improvements for rebar, including adaptive placement and better visualization, Revit 2024 offers a comprehensive set of tools for structural engineering and detailing.

Plan-based load analysis for electrical engineers to save time in the early stages of a project
